Fayston, VT hands down. Check out Rabbit Squire Resort. Reasonable, kid-friendly, great skiing.

Smuggler’s Notch in Jeffersonville, VT. It’s been ranked the number one family resort in the northeast for a number of years now. I grew up skiing there; there’s a wide variety of terrain and the resort itself is very nice. Plus you’re about an hour’s drive from Burlington for even more options. Hope you have a great trip!

How about Stowe?
Two of the best resorts are there — Green Mountain Inn ( ) and Topnotch Resort and Spa ( ).
They both offer amazing winter activities (skiiing, etc.) and kids programs/activities (day camps, etc.).

The Killington Grand Resort Hotel on Killington Mountain. Not far from Rutland. Very close to skiing.

I drove past them, but I guess that doesn’t count. Every place up there is about the same, better book up now before it fills up.
